What kind of services do you offer?

I cover local horse shows and offer portrait sessions to clients within approximately 1hr30min/50 miles of Staunton, VA. As of 2024, I also offer website design, content strategy, and branding to clients across the Commonwealth of Virginia. 

How do I know which digital license I need? 

• If you'd like to share the photo on your social media, put it on a personal website, or otherwise share it digitally, you'll want to purchase an online use license. This license does not include the right to print the image, edit the image, or use the image for advertising/commercial purposes.
• If you'd like to print the photo through your preferred lab, you'll want to purchase a print license. You do not need to purchase a print license to order prints through the online shop. This license does not include the right to share the image online, edit the image, or use the image for advertising/commercial purposes. 
• If you'd like to print the photo through your preferred lab and share it online, you'll want to purchase full licensure. 
• If you would like to use the image in any way that is not explicitly covered by your purchased license, please reach out for written permission first. 
   

SESSIONS

How do I book a session?

When will I get the photos from my session? 

I provide each client with an estimate based on their specific session details. Most galleries are completed within 1-2 weeks of the session date. 

How can I download or order prints of the images from my session?

Every session package includes access to a final gallery of 50-300+ edited images that you can download for free or have printed at the cost of printing/shipping from our partner labs. Clients may also download images and print them through their preferred labs.
 

HORSE SHOWS

How do I get you to take horse show photos of me? 

I try to take a few images of every exhibitor at the shows that I cover. However, signing up in advance is the best way to ensure I capture your round. For riders who sign up, I make an effort to cover each round and can often grab candid shots as well. You can see which shows are coming up and access sign-ups on the "Show Schedule" page. 

How late can I sign up for photos? 

Sign-up forms close a day or two before the show, and I strongly encourage clients to sign up as far in advance as possible. That said, I understand that horse shows are unpredictable. If you approach me at a show and ask to be added to the coverage list, I will do my best to include you.  

Will you be at *Horse Show*? 

The "Show Schedule" page lists the next shows I'll be attending. If you would like to see a show added to the schedule, you're welcome to submit a request via the "Contact" page! 

When will photos from *Horse Show* be up? 

Upload times vary based on the size and scope of the show, but here is a quick guide to expected upload times.  

Can I buy all the photos you have of me/my horse? 

Yes! As of 2022, I'm allowing clients to purchase "show galleries" or "season galleries" that contain all the images I have of them from the show/show season. Clients may download the images in these galleries for free and order prints at the cost of printing/shipping. To request one of these galleries, please reach out via the "Contact" page with the show dates you'd like to purchase photos from and the rider number from each date. 

Can I buy photos from horse shows before 2023?

Yes! I have archived show photos going back to 2014. Please reach out via the "Contact" page with the date of the show and a description of the horse/rider pair.
